Whilst at Liverpool, Woodburn had loan spells away from Anfield at Sheffield United in the Championship, at League One's Blackpool and Oxford United, and also made 30 appearances for Heart of Midlothian in Scotland.
In his first season with Salford City, Woodburn scored three goals and made seven assists across 33 league appearances for the club during the 2024-25 season.
