Voting is now open for Goal of the Season 2023-24, with supporters having a choice of 10 excellent Ammies goals to choose from.

Goal 1 sees Matt Smith score the first of his 24 league goals this season, with a challenging header at Forest Green Rovers from the opening day.

Goal 2 is from defender Curtis Tilt and his brilliant overhead kick at Harrogate Town in September.

Goal 3 sees the Ammies down to 10 men and trailing at home to Swindon Town, only for substitute Liam Humbles to score a dramatic late equaliser in the 96th minute.

For Goal 4 we have Conor McAleny’s Christmas cracker at Colchester United in December.

Goal 5 is that unstoppable corner from Elliot Watt in the 3-1 win over Wrexham at The Peninsula Stadium back in February!

Junior Luamba’s fine solo run at Mansfield is Goal 6, completing an excellent counter-attacking move by The Ammies in Nottinghamshire.

Goal 7 is Luke Garbutt’s memorable strike against Stockport County under the floodlights at The Peninsula Stadium in March.

Two goals from the Morecambe home win also feature in the list of contenders as well, Goal 8 sees Connor McLennan running in from the left to open the scoring that afternoon, while Callum Hendry’s excellent half volley in the second half is Goal 9.

The final contender at Goal 10 goes to Ryan Watson, and his superbly taken volley against Harrogate Town from the last day of the season.

Voting is open until 4:00pm on Friday 3rd May 2024, and the winner will be announced shortly afterwards.
