Salford City is recruiting for a Head of Academy Coaching who will play a key part in managing the implementation and development of an elite coaching programme alongside the Academy Director.

The role will play a critical part in ensuring excellent in all areas of coaching across the age groups and make sure that the club adheres to the EPPP.

You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of coaches from Under-9s to Under-18s; designing and delivering the club's Continued Professional Development programme; ensuring each coach within the academy has a Coach Competency Framework in place to monitor and evaluate staff; ensuring compliance with necessary EPPP regulations and much more.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in an academy setting, with experience of managing a large group of coaches. You will be a great communicator; able to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders; extremely organised and methodical; and able to ensure the highest standards are met.

A minimum of a UEFA A licence is required; an FA Youth Award and FA Advanced Youth Award; FA Safeguarding qualification; FA BAsic First Aid qualification; EFAiF qualification; enhanced DBS clearance; and valid Safeguarding certificates.
