Defender Adebola Oluwo joined Salford City ahead of the 2025-26 season on a two-year contract at The Peninsula Stadium.

The 25-year-old central defender moved to The Ammies following a successful couple of seasons at Barnet, which cumulated in him playing 36 league matches in 2024-25, scoring six goals and helping his side keep 14 clean sheets in the process, all during a campaign which saw the North West London club become the champions of The National League and achieve promotion back to the Football League.

Olowu is no stranger to playing in sides competing up at the top end of a table, having helped Barnet make the play-offs in the season prior to their promotion, he was also part of the Chelmsford City side which secured a National League South play-off finish at the end of the 2022-23 campaign, all experience which the defender is now looking to bring to Salford City.
