Bio
Salford City’s Deadline Day signing in September 2025, forward Dan Udoh, joined the Ammies on a two-year deal at the Peninsula Stadium.
The 29-year-old striker arrived after spending a year with Wycombe Wanderers, where he scored 11 goals in 57 appearances, helping the Buckinghamshire club secure a place in last season’s League One play-offs.
As a teenager, Udoh began his footballing career in Luton Town’s development squad, before moving on to spells with Stevenage, Kidderminster and Ilkeston. The 19-year-old featured for the latter in their 2–1 win over Salford City in a Northern Premier League fixture at The New Manor Ground in February 2016.
That same year, he caught the attention of Crewe Alexandra, before returning to non-league with AFC Telford United. There, he enjoyed a prolific 26-goal season with the Bucks in the National League North, earning a move back to the Football League with fellow Shropshire side Shrewsbury Town.
Udoh went on to spend five seasons with the Shrews in League One, scoring 38 goals, including the opener against Liverpool at Anfield in the FA Cup back in 2022.
