Salford City announced their first summer signing ahead of the 2025–26 season as versatile midfielder Kallum Cesay, who joined the Ammies from National League side Wealdstone for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old had originally signed for Wealdstone in February 2024 and played a key role the following season in helping the club retain its National League status, scoring six goals in 37 league appearances for the Stones, earning a reputation for his high energy and strong work rate.

Before his time at Wealdstone, Cesay came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur and earned four international caps for Sierra Leone, scoring twice for the African nation.
