Mackenzie Chapman signed a deal with Salford City in October 2025 until the end of the season.

The Bury-born goalkeeper, who used to come to Moor Lane as a spectator with friends, spent the summer with the PFA squad as well as training with the Ammies and featuring in pre-season.

Mackenzie started off in the academy at Accrington Stanley before moves to Burnley and Manchester United. After departing from Carrington he signed for Oldham Athletic and made his Football League debut as a substitute for Ian Lawlor in October 2020. He then had a season each at Oxford United - working with Karl Robinson - and Bolton Wanderers B, before signing with Blackpool in 2023.

In November 2025 he signed on loan at St. Albans City for more playing time.
